About Andreas
Andreas is Chairman and Co-Founder of Emil Capital Partners, where he guides the firm’s early-stage consumer investments. Formerly CEO until 2023, he brings more than 25 years of experience in retail, consumer goods, and private equity, and has held senior leadership roles across Europe and North America as a member of various Executive Boards. His past leadership includes Tengelmann (Chief Strategy Officer & Owner Representative; previously Co-CFO), Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company Inc. (Chief Strategy Officer and Vice Chairman), and Breuninger GmbH (CFO), the leading German premium department store chain. Andreas began his career in management consulting and holds a PhD in Economics, an MBA from London Business School, and an MA in Psychology. He has lectured at EBS, the University of Düsseldorf, and the University of St. Gallen.
Andreas lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his family and remains active in the consumer sector through strategic advisory and board roles.
