About Marie-Li
Marie-Li is the Director of Business Development at Tengelmann, where she is focused on identifying high-potential opportunities that bridge legacy and innovation. She also serves as Investment Director of Emil Capital, the US growth capital firm of Tengelmann. She holds a deep belief in the power of long-term capital to shape meaningful progress. Her experience spans investing in and advising early-stage consumer brands to mature businesses undergoing transformation, developing thoughtful partnerships with founders and operators alike.
Marie-Li began her career in asset management at Goldman Sachs and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and an MBA from Columbia Business School. An adventurer at heart, she is always seeking out experiences that challenge her to grow mentally and physically, whether that’s on mountains or in the board room.
