About Werner
Werner is the Chief Financial Officer at ECP Growth, and a seasoned finance professional with nearly two decades of experience across debt and equity financing, having worked on both the banking and corporate sides. He developed deep expertise in finance and controlling while leading the central finance unit of a global content production and license distribution group, where he also served as CFO and Board Member for several local production companies. Prior to joining Tengelmann, Werner was an Investment Manager at a private equity firm specializing in turnaround situations, bringing a hands-on approach to complex financial challenges. His career began in banking in the 1990s, laying a strong foundation for his strategic and operational capabilities.
Werner lives near Munich with his wife and two children and is passionate about running, cycling, and skiing.
